Home Robberies, Update from MPD

Neighbors,

There was an attempted break in on Cedar Terrace yesterday.  The suspect parked a green sedan in the driveway and was in the process of removing the window screen when the home owner returned.  The same suspect knocked on a neighbors door.  When the neighbor answered the suspecet asked for directions to the train (even though they were driving a car). 
There was a break in this past Wednesday on 88 Granite Ave (between the golf course & the DPW yard).  Again in this situation entry was made via a window screen.

It's a stark reminder that we need to remain alert and we need to keep our homes & cars locked.
